Panorex CMT Plus
Panorex CMT PLUS System and Hardware
The
Panorex CMT PLUS incorporates sophisticated robotics hardware
in conjunction with computer automated operations. The systems
functions are controlled by two separate computers: an on
board computer which controls the actual robotic motions,
and an operator interfaced console. This console provides
easy point and click access to various imaging procedures.
Panorex CMT PLUS Motion
The Panorex CMT PLUS system performs panoramic and distortion-free
complex motion tomography employing hypocycloidal motion.
The resulting tomographic slices of virtually any cranial
structure are sharp and distortion free with constant magnification,
which can be reliably used to make measurements and to plan
surgical procedures.
Panorex CMT PLUS Imaging
The
system is capable of producing slice thickness of 2 millimeter
and up, bringing CT scan capability into your office. In implant
tomography, the system provides both cross-section and sagittal
views of user selected sites with ease and accuracy. In addition
to TMJ and implant imaging, the system can be used for a variety
of other applications including sinuses, orbits, and third
molar visualization. It also produces high quality panoramic
images with computer optimized profiling of various arch sizes
and shapes.
